Is Coffee Good Or Bad For Your Health?
Business people, moms, and dads will continue to be fueled by coffee.
Without this black nectar, I bet we wouldn’t see half the positive production you currently do. It certainly powers me.
But is coffee good for us?
An age-old debate with a few solid answers. We know for sure that caffeine gives you energy and increases your heart rate - but is that good?
To the joy of coffee fanatics around the world, it turns out it’s a very good thing.
Drinking caffeinated coffee every day can significantly improve your cardiovascular system and heart health… It can even help you live longer.
That’s backed by new research from the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology. They found coffee “significantly reduces” the risk of heart disease, congestive heart failure, and strokes.
On top of that, coffee beans contain hundreds of helpful chemical compounds, oils, and antioxidants that can benefit your body, mind, and health.
warning Will Robinson…
When you fill your daily joe with sugar, fatty milk, syrup, and artificial aromas -- the bad will quickly outweigh the good.
Go for quality, organic brands if you can… take your coffee black or maybe with a splash of a healthy oat milk.
And as always moderation is the key - you can definitely have “too much of a good thing”.
Most experts consider 300mg of caffeine a day to be a moderate consumption, perfectly safe and healthy for most adults. Depending on your preferred brewing method, this equates to:
Instant coffee – about two cups and a half of coffee with one to two tablespoons of coffee powder in each.
Espresso – you can consume five to six shots of espresso.
Brewed coffee – around three to four cups of brewed coffee.
Cold brew coffee – drinking two to three cups of cold brew coffee is considered safe.
There it is, go grab an espresso… you already knew you liked it, now you know your body does too.
